Our manufacturing and distribution company operates five manufacturing plants, four distribution warehouses, and five sales offices. As a Technical Project Manager, you will provide information technology technical project management services for TM Cobb and Haley Bros’ company critical businesses and organizations. You will coordinate with leadership, staff, and IT to deliver technical projects on time, aligned with budget and scope, providing digital solutions that effectively service the user community while ensuring efficient project delivery and operations across the companies’ eight physical locations (BP, RS, SB, SC, SK, RJ, RV, CC).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from inception to delivery.
- Identify, analyze, mitigate, and proactively respond to project challenges.
- Execute delivery processes so that distributed resources can work effectively in an objective-driven environment.
- Provide leadership and help foster a work culture that supports individual differences in workstyles.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and the new vendor selection process.
- Oversee a multi-site project delivery model.
- Meet regularly with project stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.
- Create schedules and timelines for project execution.
- Generate regular project status reports to update stakeholders and teams.
- Develop and establish team processes and strategies.
- Train teams on project delivery methodology.
- Oversee day-to-day technical operations, including task assignments and personnel reviews.
- Define roles and responsibilities of the team (e.g., RACI & Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)).
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience Required: 2 years IT project management experience.
- Strong leader with proven ability to manage resources, both FTE and vendor.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to forge consensus.
- Ability to manage ambiguity.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualifications: PMP Certification (preferred).
