Position Overview
This is a critical leadership role responsible for defining and delivering the medium- and long-term Supply Chain strategy for North America Markets (NAM). Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, the Director translates business objectives into a clear, integrated supply chain agenda that strengthens competitiveness, resilience, and sustainable value creation. You will work closely with Global Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering leaders to ensure alignment with both global operations and regional commercial priorities. Additionally, you are an enterprise-minded supply chain leader who can turn complex business needs into clear, actionable strategies while balancing cost, service, growth, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and execution of Bacardi North America's medium- and long-term Supply Chain strategy, with accountability for network design, performance excellence, value creation, and strategic transformation across manufacturing, external manufacturing, engineering, and distribution.
- Define and govern end-to-end supply chain trade-offs, including make vs. buy decisions, in-house versus third-party production, capacity and footprint optimization, and technology and capital investment choices.
- Translate business objectives into a clear, integrated multi-year supply chain roadmap to strengthen competitiveness, resilience, service performance, and cost leadership.
- Drive supply chain performance improvement by identifying structural opportunities, leading cross-functional initiatives, and embedding standard KPIs and continuous improvement disciplines.
- Establish regional KPIs, operating standards, and continuous improvement frameworks to deliver measurable gains in cost, productivity, service, and asset utilization.
- Oversee the regional Supply Chain PMO and CAPEX governance ensuring disciplined prioritization, robust business cases, and consistent delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to cross-functional and matrixed teams, fostering strong collaboration across relevant business functions.
- Lead external manufacturing strategy and partnerships, ensuring performance management, risk mitigation, and alignment to quality, service, and cost objectives.
- Champion transformation, innovation, and Manufacturing 4.0 capabilities by embedding a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership at a senior level, managing large cross-functional and matrixed teams.
- Strong background in supply chain strategy, network design, and performance management.
- Deep experience in continuous improvement (Lean), engineering, and capital project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation and change initiatives.
- Strategic and systems thinker with a strong focus on execution.
- High learning agility and a curiosity that drives innovation and change.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills at a senior level.
- Ability to build inclusive, high-performing teams and foster a strong sense of belonging.
- Resilient, decisive, and comfortable operating in ambiguous environments.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Experience Required: 12-15+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations roles within a complex, multinational environment.
