Principal Software Developer -APEX developer (In Office in Redwood Shores CA)

Position Overview

Oracle is building IoT-related applications using Oracle APEX on the Oracle IoT Platform and is seeking an experienced Software Developer who is passionate, innovative, and quality-focused. In this role you will design and build an APEX database application using real-time IoT data while collaborating closely with Product Management and Design teams. Career Level: IC4.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IoT applications with the team.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Define specifications for new features and own their development.
• Develop intuitive user interfaces for the applications.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation while supporting the applications.

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of Oracle APEX development experience.
• Proven experience building database applications.
• PLSQL experience required.
• Experience with client-side and server-side Node.js.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A systems thinker who can work between high-level conceptual strategies and detail-oriented implementation.
• Experience working with Agile development frameworks.
• IoT development experience is a plus.
