Position Overview
Boston Imaging – the US headquarters for sales, marketing, service and distribution of all Samsung digital radiography and ultrasound systems – is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist in Ultrasound Women's Health for the New York & New Jersey territory. In this role you will provide clinical and technical expertise during the sales process, supporting both internal teams and external customers within the Women’s Health Commercial Market. You will work closely with Sales Representatives, Dealers, and the Channel Sales Manager to ensure exceptional product demonstrations, post-sale training, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and clinical instruction during the ultrasound sales and post-sale process, including on-site visits to physicians and sonographers.
- Up to 75% travel is required to meet customer and service needs.
- Conduct expert product demonstrations and deliver post-installation training to clinical staff.
- Support industry trade shows and professional conferences with clinical and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with product management and service teams to relay feedback and improve product performance.
- Represent Boston Imaging professionally, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining a positive attitude with customers.
- Continuously learn both the company’s and competitor’s product lines to better promote the portfolio.
- Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to optimize performance.
- Transport company equipment in accordance with policy.
Required Qualifications
- RDMS certification required (OB/GYN and Fetal Echo) with excellent technical and clinical knowledge in diagnostic ultrasound.
- 4–10 years of clinical ultrasound experience in MFM, Ob/Gyn, and Fetal Echo applications; skilled in 2D, 3D, and Color Doppler techniques.
- Proven experience supporting the Women’s Health Commercial Market and previous commercial experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to train customers at all levels.
- Excellent computer and analytic skills, proficient with technology including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements and manage overnight travel effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong time management and organizational abilities.
