Job Description
Position Overview
GovCIO is currently seeking a Business Analyst to become a subject matter expert on our FCMT Team, supporting an effort to reduce the exposure and use of Veteran PII. This role works closely with the Sustainment and Integration Teams under the VRE PSES Program. The position is fully remote, full time, and available to candidates within the Continental United States (CONUS).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and refine business requirements using Agile frameworks; develop detailed user stories and functional specifications.
- Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring documentation and adherence to best practices in system design and user experience.
- Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders; gather critical insights and lead process improvements to boost efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with project managers and software architects to plan development projects and maintain clear business process documentation.
- Lead agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, estimation meetings, retrospectives, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience or commensurate experience in business analysis.
- Extensive experience in business analysis, preferably within a federal government setting.
- Strong background in discovery, requirements development, and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficient in business analysis tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
- Able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with the VA or similar federal agencies.
- Skilled in translating complex technical requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive system and requirements analysis.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 per year. Additional compensation elements may apply based on experience and market factors.
