Position Overview

The Compliance Analyst - Process Improvement will serve as a key member of the Finance team, balancing responsibilities across three core areas:

  • Forensic Accounting
  • Continuous Improvement Projects
  • Central Process Support

This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a data-driven environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and seeks a meaningful role within a world-class aerospace manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

Forensic Accounting

  • Perform in-depth analyses of site accounts and reconciliations, focusing on areas identified by the U.S. Compliance Lead
  • Support the balance sheet and peer reviews with detailed financial analysis
  • Maintain and enhance the internal “Red Flag Generator” for risk detection
  • Support control testing and compliance assurance through monthly flux analysis

Continuous Improvement (CI) Projects

  • Contribute to ongoing finance and accounting CI initiatives, including:
    • Streamlining account reconciliation and the chart-of-account usage
    • Eliminating roll-forward reconciliations
    • Improving absorption test monitoring and standard cost processes

Segment Central Process Support

  • Assist with key finance processes at the segment level, such as:
    • Regulatory reporting (Hart Scott Rodino, SAB104, etc.)
    • Annual analyses, including goodwill testing
    • Tracking commercial contract pricing and cost reduction initiatives
    • Supporting ad-hoc financial projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)
  • Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong cost accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with database querying and reporting tools
  • Strong negotiation and presentation capabilities
