Position Overview

Candidates must reside in Michigan – the on-site role requires living in the state and attending in person at OCIT Building, Waterford, Michigan, a MINIMUM of two days a week.

Trillium Teamologies is seeking an experienced Software Developer with at least 4+ years of hands-on development experience in Microsoft-based environments. This role requires expertise in Kofax scanning solutions, Laserfiche Document Management Systems (DMS), .NET, and VB6. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and supporting secure, scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, VB6, and .NET frameworks.
• Design and implement document management system integrations and scanning workflows leveraging Kofax Capture/Transformation and Laserfiche DMS.
• Provide production support by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues for internal users and customers.
• Collaborate with project teams via Microsoft Teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including program specifications, data models, workflows, and architecture diagrams.
• Support Laserfiche customization, automation, and system enhancements.
• Leverage Azure DevOps for build, deployment, and version control.
• Work within an Agile methodology to deliver high-quality solutions in iterative development cycles.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and security standards.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise with .NET, VB6, ASP.Net, and ASP.Net MVC.
• Hands-on experience with Kofax Capture/Transformation and Laserfiche DMS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS, and database design.
• Experience with Visual Studio, IIS, REST services, and API development.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and project tracking.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site minimum 2 days per week at Oakland County IT.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint Online, and MS Teams.
• Background in Agile methodologies and practices.
• Prior experience with enterprise-scale document management and workflow automation.
