This role involves providing technical support by maintaining computer hardware, assisting teachers with software issues, troubleshooting and repairing computers, coordinating equipment procedures at the beginning and end of the school year, assembling new computer equipment, managing computer inventories, arranging warranty service calls, offering input on software needs, and instructing students on proper software use. The position is a key component of the technology team within the educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance for computer hardware.
• Assist teachers with problems related to computer and software use.
• Troubleshoot and repair computers as appropriate.
• Conduct beginning and end of year computer equipment procedures.
• Assemble new computer equipment when needed.
• Inventory, troubleshoot, and maintain records for recycled computers.
• Arrange service calls for computers under warranty.
• Provide technology team input on software needs.
• Instruct students on the proper use of computer software.
• Occasionally lift seventy-five (75) pounds when necessary.
• Maintain positive public relations with the community, staff, and students.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards job-related growth and improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisors or the Superintendent.
