Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer service calls and correspondence according to Standard Operating Procedures and contract requirements.
- Receive calls from child support customers and other stakeholders, ensuring adherence to procedures.
- Process and document correspondence as well as record interactions in the required systems.
- Complete updates in both the SMI system and State system following established guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of experience in service delivery, customer service, call center operations, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Excellent customer service skills including handling upset callers, active listening, and effective oral and written communication.
- Proficiency in data entry along with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows-based software.
- Ability to interpret, apply, analyze, and explain laws, procedures, and regulations, while maintaining accurate records and working independently.
- Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing) and reside in the San Antonio, TX area.
