We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level Help Desk Support professional to provide first-level technical assistance to end users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, logging incidents, and ensuring timely resolution of IT-related problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Helpdesk to assist with Windows upgrades
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or ticketing system
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
- Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, operating systems, and standard applications
- Log, track, and document incidents, requests, and resolutions in the help desk system
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams as required
- Assist with user account management (password resets, access permissions)
- Support onboarding and offboarding of employees (IT setup)
- Follow IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines
- Maintain a high level of customer service and communication with users
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or pursuing)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and common IT applications
- Understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and basic networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Freshdesk, Jira, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365
- Awareness of ITIL concepts
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation (optional)
Experience
- 0-1 year of experience in IT support or technical assistance
- Freshers with relevant training or internships are encouraged to apply
