We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Entry-Level Help Desk Support professional to provide first-level technical assistance to end users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, logging incidents, and ensuring timely resolution of IT-related problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Helpdesk to assist with Windows upgrades
  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, operating systems, and standard applications
  • Log, track, and document incidents, requests, and resolutions in the help desk system
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams as required
  • Assist with user account management (password resets, access permissions)
  • Support onboarding and offboarding of employees (IT setup)
  • Follow IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and communication with users

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or pursuing)
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and common IT applications
  • Understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and basic networking concepts
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Freshdesk, Jira, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365
  • Awareness of ITIL concepts
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation (optional)

Experience

  • 0-1 year of experience in IT support or technical assistance
  • Freshers with relevant training or internships are encouraged to apply
