In this entry-level role within the Allianz Investment Management (AIM) Finance and Operations team, as a Financial Analyst you will collaborate on the annual operating budget process, monitor actual performance, manage statutory deposits and reporting, and ensure financial controls and compliance. This opportunity offers exposure to both accounting operations and investment securities management, and requires the proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Allianz Life Corporate Finance for budget and spend analysis.
  • Analyze and report monthly actuals against budget.
  • Monitor and track project expenses towards approved plans and budgets.
  • Process vendor invoices in partnership with Allianz Treasury ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Ensure vendor invoicing complies with contracted terms.
  • Calculate monthly expenses and revenues for AIM and report them to Allianz Life.
  • Prepare and submit client billings on a monthly and quarterly basis, as applicable.
  • Manage statutory deposits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile deposits with custodians, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics.
  • 0-2 years' accounting experience.
  • Experience with reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with AI and/or business intelligence tools.

  • Compensation:Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $110,000. Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive program.
