Job Description

Position Overview

Responsible for ONR Code 341 (Human and Bioengineered Systems) and Code 342 (Training & Human Effectiveness). This role is focused on coordinating, planning, and advising on S&T activities that support the development, assessment, and transition of technologies aimed at enhancing warfighter performance and training effectiveness across the Department of the Navy. Please note: Position is Contingent on Contract Award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage responsibilities for ONR Code 341 (Human and Bioengineered Systems) and Code 342 (Training & Human Effectiveness).
  • Coordinate, plan, and advise on S&T activities that support technology development, assessment, and transition.
  • Enhance warfighter performance and training effectiveness across the Department of the Navy.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Tier 5 clearance or the ability to obtain one before award.
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Science (ScD) with five (5) years of relevant work experience; or a Master’s Degree with ten (10) years of relevant work experience in Life Science, Social Science, or a domain related to Human-Systems Integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Naval Research Enterprise (NRE) and the roles of ONR program officers and science advisors.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with experience in process improvement, training program development, and coordinating outreach events.
  • Ability to analyze and distill complex technical materials into clear and concise summaries.
  • Recent experience providing high-level support to senior government executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Holds a DAWIA, FAC-P/PM, or PMP certification in program or project management; prior experience with the DoD or DON is preferred.
  • Over five (5) years of experience in the development and support of Navy Science and Technology (S&T) programs.
  • Experience with handling, storing, couriering, and arranging for digital projection of classified information.
