Job Description

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the TLC Operations Manager is to manage day‐to‐day operations while developing teams that apply root cause methods to drive performance efficiencies and meet internal metrics. In this role at Asurion, you will promote teamwork, collaboration, and uphold quality, production standards, professionalism, and integrity in accordance with Asurion Core Values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and implement warehouse operations and administrative support to meet/exceed quality and productivity metrics.
  • Lead and execute technical aspects of projects or departments when applicable.
  • Utilize Visual Management to identify wins, opportunities, and support needs.
  • Operate in compliance with Federal, State, and Local authorities on a daily basis.
  • Create an atmosphere of open communication and motivation to ensure teams reach their highest potential.
  • Manage teams to ensure product arrival, proper disposition, adherence to inventory and shipping protocols.
  • Conduct regular documented performance and behavior reviews on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
  • Develop and manage control systems to ensure metrics are met and maintain ISO compliance.
  • Evaluate process flow and drive continuous improvements.
  • Lead process improvements to benefit overall Asurion initiatives.
  • Plan and implement continuous improvement in labor efficiency, labor utilization, and overall operating cost.
  • Collaborate pro-actively across departmental boundaries.
  • Foster an environment of trust and fairness.
  • Exercise sound judgment to proactively solve emerging issues.
  • Cultivate an employee-oriented culture emphasizing quality, continuous improvement, retention, and high performance.
  • Engage in personal ongoing development.
  • Evaluate and manage staffing levels to ensure metrics are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network designs, and warehouse best practices.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to navigate issues and apply root cause analysis for resolution.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to unite diverse groups toward a common goal.
  • Proven ability to apply problem-solving methods, statistical techniques, and performance metrics to drive financial savings and operational efficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and team facilitation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering or relevant related experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of proven leadership in operations.
  • Proven project leadership experience.
