Position Overview
Account Representative / Sales
We are a preferred provider of commercial print for over 30 years in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Traditional print is changing – and we're changing too. As we grow, we're evolving into a Marketing Solutions Provider by expanding our offerings from traditional offset printing and online fulfillment to include digital printing, web-to-print solutions, design services, and mailing. This role is instrumental in developing new accounts while maintaining profitable relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell company capabilities to new and established customers; serve as the primary service representative while being accountable for maintaining and expanding annual profitable sales and meeting mutually agreed upon sales targets.
- Identify customer needs related to marketing campaigns, printed materials, and related services, and educate yourself about all phases of the customer’s business.
- Represent the company in a positive, professional manner by pre-qualifying prospects, preparing for presentations, actively listening and responding to client questions, closing sales, and following up as promised. Maintain a well-groomed appearance with business-appropriate attire.
- Assist customers in planning projects and campaigns by offering creative ideas on design, layout, printing, binding, mailing, and other value-added services.
- Obtain accurate customer deadline dates and communicate any delays or changes to production effectively.
- Assess customers’ future plans regarding campaigns, print projects, budgets, and in-house marketing plans, and update the Sales Manager accordingly.
- Develop additional contacts at each account to ensure continuity and foster sales growth.
- Maintain detailed records including call logs, expense accounts, customer information, and electronic database entries.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in print sales (Required)
