Position Overview

At GXO, we believe in unleashing logistics at full potential. In your role as the Senior Project Implementations Manager, you will contribute to new business startups, drive operational efficiency, and support the financial success of the company by ensuring projects are planned, executed, and delivered on time and on budget. This full-time position (1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm) is open to candidates based remotely anywhere in the US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving objectives in new business implementations
  • Guide and direct project team members ensuring compliance with standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ensure availability of financial, material, and human resources for successful project completion
  • Evaluate progress to detect limitations and implement solutions for process efficiency
  • Develop internal and external communication strategies to connect various departments and clients
  • Delegate tasks using specialized tools and ensure even distribution among team members
  • Participate in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand personal networks
  • Motivate team members to meet project goals and ensure client satisfaction
  • Manage all aspects of projects, including planning, communication, risk assessment, and resource allocation
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work/military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience managing multiple complex projects using project management software
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification(s) such as PMP, Agile or Six Sigma
  • Experience in a transportation, supply chain, logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of professional services economics and change management processes
  • Experience in staff management and mentoring Project Managers
  • Availability to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 40% of the time)
