ASAPUnder the direction of the Director of Human Resources, this role is responsible for attracting and hiring high-quality candidates through proactive sourcing and effective communication. The Recruiter will drive the full-cycle recruiting process, ensuring a strong candidate pipeline while upholding the company’s reputation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate job descriptions for new positions and post to online job boards.
- Review and analyze resumes using online sourcing and alternative solutions.
- Search job boards, websites, and leverage employee referrals for potential candidates.
- Evaluate applications to ensure candidates meet minimum position requirements.
- Interview candidates, discuss role highlights, and assess candidate skills and cultural fit.
- Coordinate the pre-hire process including offer letters, background checks, and drug screens.
- Input new hires into HRIS and guide them through the onboarding process.
- Collect recruiting data such as cost per hire, time-to-hire, and retention rates, and prepare reports.
- Develop recruiting plans and research new sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Participate in team calls, meetings, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 – 3 years of Full Cycle Recruiting experience.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (including Excel pivot tables and graphing).
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of recruiting experience in Transportation, Light Industrial, or Warehousing.
- 3-5 years of combined education and work experience in Recruiting.
