Job Description
Position Overview
This is a remote position in the State Of Arizona. Candidates must reside in Arizona. The Network Engineer III researches, develops, tests, analyzes, and documents WAN and LAN infrastructure while performing routine operational tasks, maintenance, project work, installation duties, support functions, and mentoring. The role also participates in a support on-call rotation for off-hour incident response, upgrades, patches, and project task fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, test, analyze, and document WAN and LAN infrastructure including switches, routers, DHCP, DNS, NTP, and wireless networks. Perform network maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and system monitoring to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
- Utilize communication skills to listen, identify, and address customer needs while building and maintaining positive relationships with team members, managers, and various departments.
- Embody the commitment to service excellence by upholding principles such as Customer Centricity, Service Focus, Quality Driven, Resource Wise, and Growth Oriented practices while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Complete IT Governance and IT project assignments to ensure achievement of established project milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work-related experience in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 6 years of experience in designing, planning, deploying, documenting, maintaining, and diagnosing complex network infrastructures including switches, routers, DHCP, DNS, NTP, wireless, NGFW, ADC, WAN, IP Voice & Video, and copper/fiber cabling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 8 years of experience in network design, implementation, and management, including large-scale distributed systems and healthcare environments.
- Preferred certifications including Cisco (CCNP, CCDP, CCDE, CCIE, CCAr, ONS), Citrix (CCA, CCP, CCE), FLUKE, Infoblox (CINA, CICA, CICE, CIST), ISC2 (CAP, CCFP, CCSP, CISSP), as well as Palo Alto and Aruba credentials.
