Job Description

Position Overview

This role is responsible for leading talent acquisition, talent management, associate relations, development, and associate engagement in the Distribution Center in support of company values and business objectives. The position provides excellent customer service by building partnerships and addressing associate needs while supporting local and regional leadership. Reporting to the Regional Human Resources Manager, the role involves direct supervision of team activities, planning, and performance monitoring. Occasional overnight travel (<10%) and comfortable indoor working conditions are expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute HR initiatives and processes with high quality in the DC, providing guidance to the management group.
  • Facilitate all staffing responsibilities—including recruiting, reporting, and system management—in partnership with the DC Management team, in compliance with government contractor requirements.
  • Protect and maintain Home Depot's direct employer/associate relationship by educating on policies and promptly addressing issues.
  • Ensure excellent associate relations through prompt resolution of issues, consistent communication, and fair treatment.
  • Apply and uphold all current employment laws (EEO, Wage & Hour, Labor, ADA, FMLA) with accurate documentation and thorough investigation follow-up.
  • Develop, implement, and deliver learning programs aimed at career enhancement and leadership development for hourly associates.
  • Collaborate with the RHRM and peer HR Managers on project management and support Supply Chain efforts.
  • Align HR efforts with Home Depot's business objectives and values.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Business, HR Management, or Psychology is preferred.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years of progressive HR Generalist experience is required if no degree is held.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000
