Job Description

Position Overview

StackAdapt is a self-serve advertising platform specializing in multi-channel solutions such as native, display, video, connected TV, audio, in-game, and digital out-of-home ads. The Advertising Technology team is seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Product Data Analyst to drive data insights for the Mobile App User Acquisition (UA) program. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to define key performance metrics, analyze trends, and deliver impactful data-driven recommendations that optimize campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze past and current mobile UA campaign data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and recommend optimizations.
  • Establish and refine core metrics that drive mobile UA performance in alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with BI, Data Engineering, and Data Analytics teams to build scalable data solutions.
  • Partner with Product and Machine Learning teams to optimize targeting models and campaign performance.
  • Work with the BI team to design and maintain data sources, dashboards, and automated reports for real-time insights.
  • Lead weekly performance reviews, presenting key findings and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to leadership, highlighting campaign trends and opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or product analytics within ad tech, mobile user acquisition, or performance marketing.
  • Strong experience with SQL for querying and analyzing data.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for statistical analysis is a plus.
  • Understanding of key mobile UA metrics including Cost Per Install (CPI), Install Per Mille (IPM), Click-to-Install (C2I), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Experience working with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) like Adjust, AppsFlyer, or Kochava.
  • Ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to translate data insights into compelling narratives for leadership and stakeholders.
