Position Summary
The Vice President, Digital Marketing will report to the Head of Marketing for Ares Wealth Management Solutions (AWMS). The role’s responsibility is to develop and deliver a fully integrated Digital Marketing and Communications strategy, aligned to business goals and strategic priorities, working in close partnership with the AWMS Leadership Team and various colleagues across the organization, to further strengthen the AWMS brand and market position in a digital highly evolving market. To be successful at this role, you will have to have a deep understanding and experience with data-driven digital communications, be comfortable with marketing technology and creating and managing personalized digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Lead the strategy and execution of a unified marketing and digital communications effort, embedding AWMS’ strategy, value proposition and product capabilities, across all digital platforms and content to maximize visibility, while maintaining the integrity of the Ares brand.
- Strategic oversight and maintenance of the AMWS website. This includes creating a long-term roadmap for the success of the site and managing ongoing publishing and managing of content on a day-to-day basis. This includes SEO strategy/execution, user-testing and site organization.
- Working with the channel marketing team, lead the development and execution of critical marketing and communications efforts to support the AWMS growth strategy including best practices in marketing automation, data-driven communications and client-centric digital programs to drive leads and generate demand.
- Manage marketing campaign design, execution and maintenance for email and outbound marketing activity. This includes both evergreen and ad-hoc campaigns, product launch/updates and event communications across digital channels.
- Own marketing analytics and reporting working alongside Ares’ data and sales support teams to ensure optimization of marketing activity and demand generation.
- Monitor the market and be abreast of the competitive environment and our client target segments, to continuously enhance our marketing approach and be ahead on the latest trends and best in class practices.
- Work closely with AWMS Product and Distribution leadership to ensure that marketing and communications efforts and the priorities/initiatives in across the organization are aligned and mutually reinforcing.
- Partner with senior leaders to drive the marketing and commercialization strategy of our digital value proposition and solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of management experience in Marketing and Communications, ideally having been part of a significant business transformation and / or scaling up a business.
- Solid experience creating and executing on a B2B Digital Marketing strategy.
- Experience in Digital Marketing is required.
- At least 5 years in Marketing roles in the financial services industry (Alternative Investments, banking, etc.).
- Strong financial acumen and ability to think strategically.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required/ MS preferred.

Compensation
The anticipated range for this position is $130,000 - $200,000 annual base salary plus annual discretionary performance-based bonus. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and performance. Benefits would include:
