Position Overview

Lincoln Electric, a world leader in advanced arc welding solutions and automation, is seeking a technician responsible for supporting the Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams through troubleshooting, repairs, wiring, and panel assembly to ensure safety, product quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, product quality, and productivity in the performance of the job.
  • Provide technical support and work independently to solve problems, debug, train, and maintain systems.
  • Perform industrial troubleshooting in electrical and robotics systems.
  • Utilize industrial tools to adjust tooling and sensors as required.
  • Provide feedback to Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to continuously improve equipment.
  • Fabricate cable assemblies and control enclosures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to develop preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Analyze data to address recurring issues and drive improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to national electrical standards.
  • Obey all safety rules, maintain cleanliness of the work area, and perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Vocational/educational training in electrical systems, industrial robots, or problem solving.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an industrial, mechanical, or electrical field (Technician II) OR a minimum of 5 years in the field (Technician III).
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to interface positively at all organizational levels.
  • PC literate and competent in MS Office applications.
  • Consistently work in a safe manner.
