Position Overview

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (5274) performs varying degrees of clerical functions—from intermediate to fairly sophisticated—which require typing skills and the use of office equipment, personal computers, and business software systems. Customer interaction requires extensive use of customer service skills and a significant degree of decision-making authority. NV Energy is looking for qualified people to join one of the premier energy companies in the West. Located in the fastest growing state in the United States, NV Energy provides electricity to 1.3 million customers throughout Nevada as well as to a state tourist population exceeding 40 million annually. Among the many communities served are Las Vegas, Reno-Sparks, Henderson, Elko, and South Lake Tahoe. Additionally, natural gas is provided to more than 155,000 citizens in the Reno-Sparks area.
