Service Technician (Automotive)

Position Overview

Avenica is the exclusive Talent Partner of Walser Automotive Group, launching dynamic careers across all experience levels. We are actively hiring full-time Automotive Technicians for Walser Automotive Group—from entry-level lube technicians to Journeypersons—at their Lake Country Toyota store in Baxter, MN.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical resources.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols while delivering high-quality, efficient service.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors or team leads.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a technician or maintenance role; automotive dealership experience is a plus, or a strong passion for cars.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable learning and using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop technology.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Completion of the HAALO inventory is required as part of the application process.
