Position Overview

Energy Jobline is the largest and fastest growing global Energy Job Board and Energy Hub, reaching over 7 million energy professionals worldwide. We focus on Oil & Gas, Renewables, Engineering, Power, Nuclear, and emerging technologies like EV, Battery, and Fusion. We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Operations Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work hands-on with hardware and software tools to collect, process, and manage operational data while collaborating with local and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely collection, extraction, and processing of data using proprietary software.
• Installing and testing hardware (requires the use of technical/installation equipment).
• Identifying and troubleshooting recurring problems and working with the team to implement improvements.
• Raising dependencies and risks during operational tasks.
• Supporting device inventory maintenance and preparing devices for operations.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Efficient planning, documentation, and communication of project status.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
• Capacity to navigate ambiguity and make quick course corrections when necessary.
• Aptitude for learning new technologies with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with accountability for meeting deadlines and schedules.
• Willingness and ability to travel within city limits and the region.
• Capability to work on your feet for several hours in indoor/outdoor environments during various weather conditions (up to 10 miles per day).
• Clean driving record and a valid Driver’s License.
• BA or BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Android, iOS, or in-development tools; familiarity with mobile and web technologies.
