Civil Engineer, Entry Level Austin, TX

Burgess & Niple is seeking a Civil Engineer, Entry Level

to join our New Braunfels or Austin South TX office. This position provides the opportunity to work as part of a design team and collaborate with some of the top experts in the industry.

B&N Civil Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Professional Engineers and Design staff
• Assist the community you live in or serve by providing professional services to enhance the economy and quality of life
• Participate in delivering projects related to planning, water, wastewater, drainage and roadway design, feasibility/cost opinions and final civil construction plan design
• Learn and develop your skills creating bid/contract documents
• Thrive in an organization that constantly adapts and evolves with client needs
• Interact with clients, governing agencies, and the public, and don’t mind occasional construction administration duties and field/site visits

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Software experience with Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel) and AutoCAD Civil3D
• Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
