Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Operations & Technology Manager to oversee CRM management, website functionality, reporting systems, and internal technology infrastructure across the Friendship Campus.
This is a systems-focused role (not a developer position) ideal for someone who understands how to manage and optimize platforms like Salesforce, troubleshoot technology issues, coordinate with external vendors, and build efficient, scalable processes.
The Operations & Technology Manager will work closely with the leadership team to support program operations through strong systems, clean data, and effective technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Salesforce Management
- Maintain and optimize the Salesforce database to support fundraising, programs, and operations.
- Create reports and dashboards for leadership and board-level insights.
- Ensure data integrity, segmentation, and accuracy across all donor and program records.
- Develop and improve workflows, automation, and internal processes.
- Train staff on best practices for CRM usage and data entry.
- Coordinate with external Salesforce consultants and support partners as needed.
Website & Digital Oversight
- Manage and update website content (WordPress, Wix, and similar platforms).
- Troubleshoot basic website issues and ensure functionality is maintained.
- Oversee donation pages and event/program registration integrations.
- Serve as liaison with external web developers for updates and enhancements.
Systems & Technology Management
- Oversee internal tools and systems used across the Friendship Campus.
- Manage Google Workspace, shared drives, and internal digital organization.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and coordinate with outsourced IT support.
- Identify and recommend technology improvements to increase efficiency and automation.
Reporting & Operational Support
- Generate weekly and monthly reports for leadership on key metrics.
- Track fundraising performance, campaigns, and engagement data.
- Support event infrastructure, including registration systems and reporting.
- Assist in designing scalable operational systems and workflows.
Vendor & Project Coordination
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including designers, developers, and consultants.
- Obtain quotes, manage timelines, and oversee project execution.
- Translate organizational needs into clear technical requirements for vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree: in Business, Information Systems, Nonprofit Management, or related field required.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in operations, CRM management, or nonprofit systems.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of Salesforce (admin or power-user level preferred).
- Experience: with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Wix, and similar platforms).
- Skills: Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across teams and with external vendors.
- Comfort level: Comfortable working in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with nonprofit fundraising systems and reporting.
- Experience building dashboards and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with automation tools and system integrations.

Compensation & Schedule
- Position: Full-time, salaried position with competitive compensation based on experience.
- Location: This position is based on-site at the Friendship Campus with a standard work schedule with flexibility for programs, events, and special initiatives if needed.
- Salary range: Estimated salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience.
- Part-time: Part-time may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
