Job Description

Position Overview

The PEPM Group is a fast growing engineering and project management company based in Tulsa, OK, and Fayetteville, AR. Highly specialized in food processing facilities, oil/gas, and energy sectors, our team of Professional Engineers (PE) and (Peng) are licensed in 49 states and Canada. PEPM was voted the best engineering firm (Gold) 2025 in northwest Arkansas and awarded the Oklahoma Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting 2025! This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Engineer or Project Manager at PEPM Group, where you will be responsible for project management, engineering design, project planning, and overseeing engineering tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage various project tasks including planning, design, and daily oversight.
  • Oversee engineering design and review to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members to drive project success.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in engineering, oil & gas, and energy sectors.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in project management within engineering, construction, or fabrication.
  • Highly experienced in project and construction management in energy and oil/gas business.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning to achieve agreed-upon outcomes within schedules and budgets.
  • Background in energy and oil/gas is essential.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision and proficient in engineering review and design.
  • Ability to evaluate and gather required field information (travel up to 25% may be required).
  • Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Strong capability to work collaboratively and continuously improve through feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PE and/or PMP highly preferred.
