Job Description

Position Overview

Entry‑Level Sales Apprenticeship (Leadership Track). This role is for early‑career professionals who are looking for a long‑term sales career—not just a summer job. You might come from retail, fast food, serving, warehouse/blue‑collar work, or customer service, or you might have skipped/left college in search of a real career. The position begins with an intensive Summer 2026 ramp (6 days per week, in‑person, door‑to‑door) where you’ll be trained to introduce our pest control services to homeowners. If you meet expectations and enjoy the work, the role evolves into an ongoing, quota‑carrying sales position with a clear leadership path. Please note, this is a challenging role that involves long hours outdoors, extensive door‑to‑door work, and frequent rejection.

Successful candidates can progress through a clearly defined career path—from New Rep to Senior Rep and eventually to Team Lead—where top performers may even have the opportunity to manage a full team or office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go door‑to‑door in assigned neighborhoods to introduce homeowners to our pest control services.
  • Use a proven script to present services, handle objections, and close new customers.
  • Schedule: 6 days/week during the summer ramp, typically 8-10 hours per day, with most work performed outdoors.
  • Attend daily morning training sessions and role‑plays with your team lead.
  • After the ramp, manage your own territory as an ongoing sales representative, meeting weekly and monthly sales quotas.
  • Track your activity and results, including doors knocked, conversations held, sales closed, revenue generated, and commissions earned.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old by May 1 and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Available full‑time for the Summer 2026 ramp (approximately May–August, 6 days per week).
  • Willingness to relocate and live in shared housing with teammates during the ramp.
  • Comfortable with commission‑only pay, meeting weekly/monthly quotas, and enduring long days outdoors.
  • Commitment to treating this opportunity as a long‑term career track beyond just a summer stint.
  • Reliable, coachable, and persistent in a rigorous, high-demand work environment.
