Job Description
Marketing & Social Media Manager Needed for New Chicago Restaurant!
$70-$75k + Bonus & Benefits!
1. Brand Management, Messaging & Public Relations
- Own and protect the brand's voice, ensuring all messaging reflects our ethos: clean, local, sustainable, modern casual.
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints including in-store experience, website, mobile app, menus, signage, social media, influencer partnerships, trade relationships, and public relations.
- Develop and execute brand campaigns that clearly communicate the brand's philosophy.
- Manage public relations efforts including press outreach, media relationships, press releases, and brand storytelling opportunities.
- Coordinate PR initiatives around new store openings, menu launches, partnerships, events, and company milestones.
2. Digital Marketing, Social Media, Community & Influencer Management
- Own and manage Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Build and execute content calendars including posts, stories, reels, influencer content, and campaign-based activations.
- Oversee community management including responding to comments, direct messages, mentions, and tagged content.
- Manage influencer partnerships including outreach, agreements, content coordination, posting schedules, usage rights, and performance tracking.
- Manage paid digital advertising across Google, Meta, and TikTok and monitor online reputation.
3. Website & App Experience
- Own the company website and mobile app experience ensuring it is visually on-brand, user-friendly, and conversion-focused.
- Coordinate website design, updates, menus, promotions, locations, SEO, influencer features, and PR highlights.
- Collaborate with developers and vendors to support online ordering, loyalty integration, and UX improvements.
4. Local Store Marketing, Trade & Community Coordination
- Drive neighborhood awareness through partnerships with gyms, yoga studios, co-working spaces, schools, farmers, hospitality groups, and local businesses.
- Coordinate trade partnerships including cross-promotions, tastings, soft openings, influencer previews, media nights, and community events.
- Plan and execute coming soon, grand opening, influencer events, trade nights, and community activations.
5. Promotions, CRM & Loyalty Program Management
- Own and manage brand’s loyalty program end-to-end, including enrollment growth, engagement strategy, rewards structure, campaign integration, and ongoing optimization.
- Manage email and SMS marketing campaigns through platforms such as Mailchimp or Paytronix.
- Support loyalty-driven promotions, limited-time offers, seasonal menu launches, and retention campaigns.
- Track offer redemption, guest frequency, loyalty participation, and engagement.
6. Planning, Project Management, Vendors & Budget Oversight
- Create and maintain marketing timelines, key milestones, and a master marketing calendar to track all campaigns, launches, influencer activations, trade partnerships, PR initiatives, and events.
- Manage relationships with external vendors including designers, photographers, videographers, developers, agencies, influencers, trade partners, and PR firms.
- Oversee and manage a marketing budget of $3,000 per active location, ensuring efficient spend and measurable ROI.
7. Creative Development
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, influencers, and freelancers to produce high-quality creative assets.
- Oversee creative execution for ads, menus, packaging, signage, website, app, influencer content, and PR materials.
- Lead photoshoots, video shoots, influencer activations, and user-generated content.
8. Analytics & Reporting
- Track KPIs including customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, foot traffic, website/app performance, campaign ROI, loyalty participation, influencer performance, PR placements, and social engagement.
- Deliver monthly reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
9. Collaboration with Operations
- Work closely with ownership and General Managers to align marketing with the in-store guest experience.
- Support upselling initiatives, service communication, influencer visits, trade events, PR moments, and loyalty enrollment.
