In this role, you’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You will provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and discipline leads, and help design and optimize control systems for various processes in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities, will be essential in producing control system designs, developing process optimizations, and ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks and ensure alignment with project scope and budget.
- Provide on-site support during startup and coordinate work activities with team members and discipline leads.
- Design and optimize control systems, including developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and documenting design information.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world-class solutions for new facilities.
- Support the team in developing options and optimizations for process control, instrumentation, and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- Previous relevant internship experience.
- EIT certification or the ability to obtain EIT prior to hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Revit software.
- Experience with DDC and PLC based control systems.
- Experience with Data Center design or operations.
