Salesforce Software Engineer

Position Overview

At Salesforce, the leading AI CRM where human expertise meets innovative technology, we are seeking an exceptional Salesforce Developer to lead the development of our Salesforce site and connect customers to support services. As part of the Agentforce initiative, you will leverage cutting‐edge Salesforce technologies including Experience Cloud and Service Cloud and work with modern tools such as JavaScript, ReactJS, and Java to deliver enterprise‐grade solutions. Location: Office hybrid in Dallas or Indianapolis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure Agentforce agents—including topics and actions—and develop test strategies for agentic behaviors and LLM outputs.

Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of overall development experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on the Salesforce platform.
• Proficiency in Apex/Java, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, JavaScript, ReactJS, and Agentforce.
• A degree in a relevant technical field is required.
• Experience in designing and implementing Web Services.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and assessment of LLM-based agents, along with familiarity with Data 360 concepts.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Familiarity with source control systems, specifically Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing reusable code, scalable solutions, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of Agile software development and test-driven development approaches.
• Experience presenting designs internally/externally and reviewing peers' designs.
• Proficiency in automation testing frameworks.
• Certifications in Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Developer, and Agentblazer.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium.
• Experience testing deterministic AI systems and agent responses, with a foundational knowledge of LLM concepts.
