Job Description

Position Overview

As a Barron’s Top 100 RIA firm with accolades from Fortune, Pacific Coast Business Times, and Investment News, Mission Wealth offers a dynamic opportunity for a motivated, growth-minded Marketing & Business Development Intern. You will support our fast-growing national marketing team with digital marketing, SEO, and data analytics—learning firsthand how marketing drives business development in the financial services industry. This in-office role in Houston is a 12-15-month internship during your Senior year. Compensation: $22/ hour and the role is part-time, salaried exempt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support SEO, AEO, and GEO optimization initiatives for the firm website and advisor pages.
  • Maintain and update online firm and advisor directories.
  • Assist with social media profile hygiene for advisors (LinkedIn, Google Business, etc.).
  • Help coordinate digital location and local SEO projects.
  • Contribute to sales enablement and follow-up workflows in Salesforce.
  • Track engagement metrics for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Provide research and coordination support for awards, rankings, and listings (ARL).
  • Assist in advisor marketing projects and presentation preparation.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications with an expected graduation date in the Spring of 2027.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Interest in SEO, digital advertising, and CRM systems.
  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate with cross-functional marketing and business development teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a basic understanding of digital platforms (HubSpot, Canva, or Salesforce experience a plus).
