Position Overview
ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician in our Victoria, TX (CivilCorp) office. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level, service-oriented professional who is eager to learn and grow their career as part of a dynamic, collaborative IT team!
Key Responsibilities
- Providing technical assistance and support to end users by responding to help desk tickets, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems and implementing solutions
- Helping configure, build, upgrade, and deploy machines
- Providing support to remote ESP offices
Required Qualifications
- Customer service attitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with laptops, workstations, cell phones, printing systems, and hardware troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365
- Ability to work well in a highly collaborative, team setting
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities while supporting/communicating with IT teammates
- Must pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree and/or 2+ years of experience in computer systems or corporate IT support
- Experience with LAN/WAN support
- Knowledge of VPN and other remote access systems
- Experience with large-scale plotting systems
- Experience with Microsoft Server 2016, 2019, and 2022
- Experience with Hyper-V software and/or VM software
