Entry Level Mechanical Engineer (Maintenance)

Kelly Services is currently seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer (Maintenance) for one of our top clients in Anaheim, CA on a Contract to Direct Hire basis.

Ideal Candidate:

• Completion of Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Recent graduate (last 12 months), or soon to be graduate preferred
• Strong interest in manufacturing, production, maintenance, troubleshooting.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder

Shift:

Day shift: Mon - Fri, standard business hours with flex.

Compensation:

$27.00/hr

As part of Site Operations you will provide support to Mechanical and Maintenance Engineering teams. This position will ensure safety is given the highest priority to personal and processes. You will also ensure that customers get a high quality products made right the first time and delivered when promised.

Key Tasks:

• Identify and assist with continuous improvement projects on production units
• Develop, track and analyze plant performance and Overall Equipment Effectiveness
• Support work associated with sites digitalization ambitions
• Develop standardized documentation forms, instructions, batch sheets, etc.
• Assist with improving the organization and storage of information and equipment asset registers across site

• You must have good communication skills, be thorough, accurate, self-motivated, flexible, a good team player yet able to proactively work alone.
• You'll need to be ambitious, an excellent analytical thinker with a drive for getting things done.
• Applicants should have advanced spreadsheet skills and be fully conversant with Google Workspace or MS Office.
• Applicants need to be able to follow operating instructions and working procedures.
• Should have the ability to carry out this work with minimum supervision and with due regard to the Health and Safety of themselves and others.
