Position Overview
Boyd Gaming Corporation, one of the premier casino entertainment companies in the United States, is evolving its approach to direct marketing. In this role, you will oversee multi-property and property-specific direct marketing campaigns ensuring that projects are completed accurately, cost‐effectively, and on time. You will manage a team and work closely with cross-functional departments to drive marketing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the effective management of multi-property and property-specific direct marketing campaigns.
- Manage a team of 3-6 members responsible for executing both multi-property and property-specific campaigns.
- Plan, organize, and manage guest segmentation, list management, group and offer set-up, mailer development, print production, and delivery of mailings.
- Organize and manage multiple direct marketing projects ensuring timely completion.
- Support the execution of kiosk-based and E-Commerce managed digital marketing programs and campaigns.
- Select and manage cost-effective outside agencies and consultants as needed.
- Obtain RFPs on projects and ensure all invoices are paid accurately and on time.
- Develop team members’ present and future capabilities in line with Boyd standards.
- Analyze campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements to boost productivity.
- Assist properties with their marketing campaigns when needed.
- Foster strong working relationships with departments such as Creative Studio, Digital, and IT.
- Perform all other job-related duties as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a related field required.
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience in database marketing.
- Excellent interpretation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with property staff.
- Strong bias toward assisting properties to achieve their goals.
- Able to influence and get things done without formal authority.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to multi-task multiple concurrent projects.
- Knowledgeable of database marketing programs and direct mail design, production, and fulfillment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, including Salesforce.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to coach and teach.
- Leadership skills.
- Deadline oriented.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Casino industry database marketing experience preferred.
