Medical ICU - Travel Registered Nurse

Position Overview

Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for an exciting travel nursing assignment. Trusted streamlines the travel nursing experience by enabling nurses to apply directly without recruiters – resulting in more transparency and putting more money in your pocket. This role is in a Medical ICU setting with the possibility of floating to additional units and is available to both local (within 75 miles) and travel nurses.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to the shift schedule of 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with every other weekend work (approximately 3 shifts per week).
• Provide exceptional care in the Medical ICU and float to additional units/locations as needed.
• Complete pre-employment modules and promptly upload certifications or health documents to expedite onboarding.
• Follow the auto offer process – respond within 24 hours to confirmed offers.
• Comply with scheduling guidelines including no holiday relief time off (RTO) on or adjacent to holidays and weekends.

Required Qualifications

• At least 12 months of role experience with 2 years of recent acute care experience in the ICU.
• Minimum of 24 months Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Valid Illinois nursing license (required for submission).
• Mandatory COVID vaccination and Flu vaccination (with medical/religious declinations accepted for the flu shot only).
• Possession of 2 references.
• Government-issued photo ID that is clear and legible.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
