Senior AI Data Scientist - Animation [Los Angeles]

Key Responsibilities

• Build, fine-tune and implement AI and machine learning models to solve challenging problems within the animation space.
• Ensure AI and machine learning production pipelines are scalable, repeatable and tool agnostic.
• Apply current and emerging techniques in deep learning, natural language processing, and other machine learning areas.
• Collect, clean, manage, analyze, and visualize large sets of data using multiple platforms, tools, and techniques.
• Collaborate with game teams to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
• Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance and scalability, and extract meaningful insights from data.
• Document and present findings and solutions to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in data science.
• At least 1+ years working in the animation space of AI/ML.
• PhD or MSc in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in deep learning with fluency in Python and SQL.
• Experience in automating machine learning models and building end-to-end products.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools and principles (Git, CI/CD, Docker).
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• C++ and game engine experience is a plus.
• Interest and expertise in animation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation:British Columbia: $138,700 - $199,900 CAD; California: $160,600 - $249,300 USD; Washington: $149,200 - $205,500 USD.
