Position Overview
Nationwide® is seeking an innovative and results-driven Data Scientist to join its Marketing Analytics team. In this role, you will transform data into actionable intelligence by developing advanced measurement frameworks, designing rigorous experiments, and leveraging AI-driven insights to inform smarter marketing decisions. As a key contributor, you will work collaboratively across functions, ensuring marketing strategies are driven by accurate, ethical, and insightful analysis. You will also support marketing information capabilities for internal business partners by leading business and data analysis projects, enhancing statistical models, and documenting requirements to drive marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Marketing Measurement & ROI Analysis by developing robust frameworks to assess campaign effectiveness.
- Deliver actionable insights by transforming complex data into strategic recommendations that drive business growth.
- Advance experimentation practices including design and execution of A/B tests, incrementality studies, and other analytical methodologies.
- Innovate with AI and emerging technology to build next-generation analytics capabilities and enable automation.
- Enable data visualization by creating and maintaining interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI) for timely decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and technology teams to align analytics solutions with business objectives.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Champion data integrity and ethics by ensuring accuracy, transparency, and ethical use of data.
- Support business and data analysis projects by identifying critical metrics and improving statistical models.
- Assist in documenting business rules, requirements, and methodology to support effective marketing decisions.
- Facilitate implementation planning sessions and contribute to governance and training around new processes.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate studies required; post graduate studies preferred.
- Typically, five or more years of experience with analytic techniques, statistical methodologies, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of the analytic lifecycle, business intelligence, database warehousing applications, and SQL.
- Proven problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and communication skills.
- Experience working with Agile methodology frameworks.

- Compensation: National salary range for this role is $88,000.00 - $164,000.00, with an expected starting range of $88,000.00 - $132,000.00.
