Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency room patients.
  • Monitor patient conditions and implement emergency care protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status and treatments.
  • Support floating to other units as needed to meet patient care demands.
  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with occasional weekend and holiday coverage.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years working in an emergency room environment.
  • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license (non-compact state).
  • Valid certifications in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS – American Heart Association only), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS – AHA only), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
  • Ability to adapt and float between units during busy periods.
  • Commitment to start as soon as possible with reliable attendance, including returning to work within 7 days or less after time off.
