Key Responsibilities

  • Assume accountability as a Route Sales Driver by selling and distributing products along designated routes while building strong relationships with customers.
  • Increase revenue for designated accounts by selling products, arranging distribution channels, organizing displays, and executing promotional strategies.
  • Make daily deliveries and conduct product sales to assigned accounts.
  • Ensure all accounts are stocked in accordance with CCBCHC guidelines.
  • Carry out Point of Sale advertising transportation, replacement, and maintenance procedures as per account requirements.
  • Record daily monitoring of product, cash, and asset information accurately.
  • Manage invoicing and the collection process with precision and accuracy.
  • Build rapport with account personnel by delivering outstanding customer service through consistent communication, prompt problem-solving, and effective follow-up.
  • Ensure that all CCBCHC products and tools are visually appealing at assigned locations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized back room while handling trade breakage for designated clients.
  • Verify that the vehicle and its cargo meet safety requirements through thorough inspections.
  • Uphold a high standard of quality assurance as set by CCBCHC.
  • Provide a safe working environment to ensure occupational health.
  • Cultivate enduring and cooperative relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Adhere to all regulations, policies, workflows, and processes consistently.
  • Meet commitments in a timely manner to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.

Required Qualifications

  • Mastery in utilizing a hand truck incorporated with either two or four wheels.
  • Expertise in managing a wide array of heavy equipment vehicles, including industrial power trucks.
  • Candidates must possess the potential to secure a Class A CDL within three months of starting work.
  • Ability to drive a tractor and trailer requiring a Class A CDL while adhering to CDL guidelines and maintaining an acceptable driving record.
  • Aptitude to comply with and maintain DOT physical standards.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in an ever-changing work environment.
  • Proficiency in grasping business concepts and identifying relevant challenges.
  • Clear and concise communication skills through both verbal and written mediums.
  • Commitment to making key decisions that adhere to established company procedures and practices.
  • High enthusiasm to spark creativity and innovation, even in routine tasks.
  • Ability to make prompt decisions while exhibiting sound judgment and logical thinking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is highly desirable.
  • Experience Required: General work experience ranging from 1-3 years; commercial driving experience is preferred.
  • Experience in grocery store or consumer products and prior customer service experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to participate in New Hire Orientation and an interactive safety training program.
