Business Analyst (Data Analyst)

Position Overview

One of the leading Electric utility companies in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a dedicated individual to manage and maintain gas asset data. This role involves specialized duties in the management of BGE gas assets, ensuring data integrity through diligent troubleshooting and system updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs specialized duties associated with BGE management of gas assets.
• Maintains and updates data in our gas system of record (Asset Suite 8 & Atlas GIS system).
• Verifies the existence and location of equipment.
• Resolves data conflicts between systems using error listings to maintain data integrity.
• Maintains daily records of incoming Gas Service Field Tickets & Gas Service Inspection Repair Reports in GSS, Maximo, and Atlas.
• Uses Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on tracking and data management.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of gas distribution systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GIS systems.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• 4 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
