Position Overview

PR&Marketing Manager – The PR & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and PR plans to enhance brand visibility and drive growth within the entertainment industry. This role oversees all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities while building and maintaining high-level relationships with media outlets, influencers, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach to campaign development and a proven track record of delivering successful results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive product marketing communication plans, including strategy, goal setting, budgeting, and tactical execution.
  • Execution & Monitoring: Implement marketing plans and consistently review progress to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign efficacy using data-driven metrics; manage and report on KPIs for both earned and paid media.
  • Media & Influencer Relations: Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with members of the press, media outlets, and key influencers.
  • Partner Management: Manage relationships with external PR agencies, distribution partners, and key industry stakeholders to maximize available resources.
  • Content Oversight: Create and supervise the production of compelling content for press releases, articles, social media platforms, and marketing collateral.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze industry trends and competitor landscapes to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing and PR professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; or 5+ years of marketing experience specifically within the entertainment or digital content industry.
  • Networking: Proven relationships with traditional and digital media platforms.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Management: Strong attention to deadlines, budgetary guidelines, and project milestones.
  • Travel: Ability to travel internationally several times per year.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Language: Business-level proficiency in speaking and writing Japanese is a strong plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of entertainment business models, digital content trends, and fan community engagement.
  • Technical: Experience in content development, creative direction, or website management.
  • Certification: Professional marketing certification (e.g., PCM).

  • Schedule: 8 hours/day with a flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM
  • Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year
