Position Overview

In this role, you will recruit, interview, and hire qualified nursing personnel; provide ongoing education and training; conduct performance evaluations; resolve staff conflicts; manage budgets; and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. This full-time position with a 24-hour shift is located at 3100 E FLETCHER AVE, TAMPA, Florida, 33613.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, and hire qualified nursing personnel to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Provide ongoing education and training, including orientation for new staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback.
- Address and resolve conflicts among staff members to foster a positive work environment.
- Develop and manage the nursing unit's budget while monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care using data-driven practices.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and update individualized care plans accordingly.
- Safely administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Nursing (Required)
- Master's of Nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
