OptiBoost Media is hiring a Remote Data Engineer / Data Scientist to support data-driven decision-making across our digital and operational platforms. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in building data pipelines, analyzing large datasets, and delivering insights that impact business growth. This is a 100% remote position open to candidates located in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities
  • Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional remote teams
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security
  • Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Optimize data storage and performance across platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of statistics and data modeling
  • Experience working in a remote environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or big data tools
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Background in digital marketing, SaaS, or media analytics
