HealthCare Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a Healthcare Business Analyst based in Baltimore, MD to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in the Healthcare Payer space, strong analytical skills to understand complex problem statements, and a proven ability in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication. This role is instrumental in collaborating with health informatics, data science, QA, and management teams to deliver successful solutions in a dynamic client environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex problem statements and identify effective solutions.
• Gather requirements and write comprehensive project documentation.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders (business and IT).
• Conduct business analysis within Agile project environments.
• Collaborate with health informatics, data science, QA, and management teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Build professional relationships with a spirit of cooperation and flexibility.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in the Healthcare Payer space and 3–5 years within the broader Healthcare domain focused on Payer/Health Insurance/Home Health environments.
• Hospital Workflows expertise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree from a reputed institute.
• Strong US healthcare system background.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Concentration in informatics or statistics (preferred).
