Our client, a prestigious investment bank, is looking for a highly motivated and analytical Senior Investment Banking Analyst to join their thriving financial services division in Seattle, Washington, US. This is a demanding role requiring exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic financial advisory services. You will be involved in all stages of the deal process, from initial client outreach and pitch book preparation to due diligence, negotiation, and closing. Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis, valuation modeling (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and LBO modeling.
  • Prepare high-quality pitch books, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), and management presentations.
  • Conduct industry research and market analysis to identify potential transactions and client opportunities.
  • Assist in the due diligence process for transactions, including reviewing financial statements and legal documents.
  • Support senior bankers in client meetings and negotiations.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors throughout the transaction process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries.
  • Monitor market developments and client activities relevant to the firm's business.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior analysts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree: in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier university.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, or financial advisory.
  • Skills: Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency: in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon).
  • Understanding: Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and capital markets.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Integrity: High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Work ethic: Ability to work long hours and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team attitude: Team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
