Inventory Specialist

Position Overview

Copart, Inc. is a technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform globally, connecting vehicle sellers with over 750,000 buyers in more than 190 countries. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines by documenting vehicle conditions with a complete inventory and supporting photographs. The role also involves directing traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicles and facilitating a great customer experience by offering effective solutions in line with Copart policies. Salary: $18.00 - $20.29/ Hour

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
• Operate the camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine the operational capability of motor vehicles and complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) as required.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all materials used.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• General automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer proficiency with the ability to operate handheld devices.
• Valid driver's license.
• Bilingual skills.
