Position Overview

Pioneer Human Services in Seattle, WA is seeking a Financial Analyst who is passionate about human services and dedicated to improving the lives of community members. With over 60 years of service and a mission to empower justice‐involved individuals, this role plays a critical part in shaping financial visibility and strategic growth within a nationally recognized non-profit.

As part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will develop and optimize financial models, perform performance analysis, and deliver actionable insights to guide decision-making across programs and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and optimize financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
  • Analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators to deliver strategic insights.
  • Monitor budget performance and lead variance investigations with recommendations for corrective action.
  • Act as a strategic partner by translating complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support high-impact projects, system upgrades, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, or corporate finance, specifically within a FP&A environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills with demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial systems such as Workday Adaptive and Epicor.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation: New hires start between $71,740 and $95,654 based on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
  • Benefits: Eligible after 30 days of full-time employment (minimum of 30 hours/week) including Medical, Flexible Spending, Dental, and Vision plans.
  • After 60 days, additional coverage becomes available for Life, AD&D, and Disability.
