Position Overview

Southwest Airlines is seeking an entry‐levelData Reporting Analystfor a remote role based in Kentucky, USA. In this role, you will support the People Systems Team through data reporting, analysis, and process optimization. Your work will involve intake of file requests, interpreting data discrepancies, and creating custom analyses – all while ensuring data integrity and adherence to privacy guidelines.Compensation: $28/Hr

Key Responsibilities

• Intake file requests and understand reporting requirements including date ranges, data fields, and intended usage.
• Interpret and reconcile data discrepancies to ensure the delivery of accurate reports.
• Create custom data analyses for use by HR teams and various departments.
• Partner with reporting customers to refine and enhance analyses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to guarantee effective implementation of new systems and processes.
• Maintain data integrity by efficiently analyzing variances and outliers.
• Ensure proper data protection and privacy guidelines are followed.
• Resolve escalated issues through detailed investigation of discrepancies.
• Blend and automate data reporting processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Entry-level experience or developing skills in data analysis, reporting, or problem-solving roles
• Proficient in gathering, organizing, visualizing, and analyzing data using analytical tools
• Strong communication skills to effectively present data insights
• Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to work in the USA
• Must be at least 18 years of age and maintain a professional appearance as per company guidelines
