Job Description

Position Overview

The Kane County Cougars are currently seeking an experienced sales professional for the role of Account Executive. This in-person position is located at Location: Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva, Illinois and is responsible for achieving sales goals by selling a variety of products including marketing and advertising, group tickets, season tickets and memberships, hospitality services, and off-date events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to service areas to represent the company and achieve the assigned goals.
  • Perform outside sales and customer service activities through in-person visits, telephone, mail, and e-mail communications.
  • Gain an understanding of the Cougars organization and its diverse offerings.
  • Build a robust client portfolio and pipeline with local and national clients.
  • Create tailored sales proposals to meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Generate revenue through both direct-to-consumer and B2B sales channels.
  • Aid in achieving a yearly team sales goal.
  • Manage and support sales staff members to help them achieve team goals.
  • Execute meetings, sales calls, and presentations with a wide variety of clients.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency in Google Suite programs (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Geneva and the surrounding areas.
  • Existing relationships with local businesses and organizations.
